Rustic Redwood Hearth Bench for Stone Fireplaces

Pair textured stone with the deep grain of a walnut-stained redwood hearth bench. This rustic design brings a continuous wood line to a fireplace wall, with a natural edge that complements the irregular surface of stone.

Natural wood character for mountain rooms

The reference image places the bench beneath a stone fireplace in a mountain-inspired interior. Its dark finish provides a strong outline against lighter masonry, while small contours and localized knots keep the wood from feeling overly uniform. Each board varies, so the grain and edge will differ from the visualization.

Choose the proportions for your project

Compare your preferred thickness with the size of the stone surround and the planned base. A substantial profile can hold its own beside larger stonework. Confirm all support dimensions and fireplace clearance requirements for the actual installation before ordering.

Available length × depth pairs are 48 × 16, 60 × 16, 72 × 18, 84 × 20 and 96 × 20 inches, each in 1.75, 3 or 4-inch wood thickness. Select an exact combination; other dimensions require a custom quote.

Solid redwood with a walnut-stained finish

Choose Natural Redwood for the wood’s warm natural color or Walnut Stain for a deeper brown tone. Both finishes are solid redwood, available with Flat Edge or Live Edge. The main interior image shows Walnut Stain. The stain changes the color; the wood species remains redwood. Fine grain, knots, natural edge contours and finish tone vary between boards. The second image is a general wood and edge comparison guide; this listing offers Natural Redwood or Walnut Stain, each with Flat Edge or Live Edge.
