Retail Checkout Wall Panels – Solid Oak Slats on HDF

Give the checkout area a warm, recognizable backdrop. These decorative wall panels use individually finished solid oak slats on a thin HDF backing sheet. Their vertical lines bring natural texture to the wall behind a cash wrap, order-collection point or boutique service counter.

Build the checkout elevation as a whole

Coordinate the panel finish with your counter, flooring and surrounding merchandise displays. A natural oak finish with white backing creates a lighter composition; a darker finish or black backing changes the contrast between the slats. The pictured counter and payment equipment illustrate the setting and are not included.

Plan around sockets, switches and signage before ordering. If your design includes a logo, screen or separate shelf, ask the installer to provide suitable independent support. The panel surface is decorative wall cladding, not a grooved retail slatwall system for merchandise hooks.

What comes in each set

• Two panels, each 12 inches wide: 24 inches combined nominal width per set.
• Choose 8-foot (96-inch), 9-foot (108-inch) or 10-foot (120-inch) panel length.
• Solid oak slats, individually finished.
• Thin HDF backing in black or white; confirm the backing color with your order.
• Six listed slat finishes: Natural Oak, Light Walnut, Medium Walnut, Dark Walnut, Gray and Black.

The Walnut finish names describe stain colors on oak; the slats remain solid oak. The first image shows natural oak with white backing. Natural variation in the wood remains visible through the finish.

Measure before purchasing

Provide the wall width and height, the counter height, openings and a marked photo or drawing of the elevation. A wide feature wall may require multiple sets. We can help review the panel quantity against the proposed layout, allowing for cuts and the location of joints. Confirm site measurements with your installer.

For a store rollout, send the elevation schedule and quantities for each location. Identify finish and backing choices clearly so every part of the quote refers to the same specification. Lighting, signage, installation and other site work must be agreed separately where applicable.

Checkout wall questions

Are these acoustic panels?

They are decorative solid oak slat panels on thin HDF backing. We do not specify a tested sound-absorption or soundproofing performance for this construction.

Can I hang product hooks directly from the slats?

These panels are not a retail hook-track system. Merchandise fixtures, signs and screens need a mounting solution appropriate to their weight and the wall construction.

How do I choose black or white backing?

State your preferred backing color in the order or project enquiry and confirm it before production. The product selectors cover panel length and slat finish.
